What About Bob?
No I'm not talking about that obnoxious character in an old Bill Murray movie. I'm talking about one of my favorite subjects; the Bug Out Bag (B.O.B.) or as I prefer to call it The Survival Rucksack. I've been testing the British Bergen rucksack for about the last month and find it a great answer to the need for a very good Bug Out Bag at a very reasonable price.

I just received a shipment of 100 of these fine Bergens, mostly in extremely good to new/like new condition. I grabbed one off the top of the stack last night, opened the front flap and to my great delight it was a brand new pack with the shoulder straps and waist band tied in the fashion they come from the factory. I can't guarantee they will all be like this but I will guarantee them to be in at least excellent to like new condition.
The Bergen is the standard/limited standard rucksack of the British Army. It is a fairly large pack in nylon pattern DPM (the British equivalent of Woodland Camouflage), very durable and quite comfortable to carry.
You can carry a heavy load comfortably if you want to due to the internal aluminum stays that can be fitted perfectly to your back and the nicely contoured and heavily padded shoulder straps and waist belt.
This is an excellent heavy duty pack and it is very inexpensive. This pack has the added advantage of working as a duffle as the shoulder straps and waist belt can be tucked completely out of the way under a large Velcro flap and carried by the two handles on the top. This is a rare rucksack here in the U.S. especially in this grade, and often sells for up to about $65 in condition # 2.
Don't miss out on this one in almost new condition. This is considered used #1 condition but as I mentioned above they all seem to be in nearly new/as new condition. We only have 100 so don't miss out.
